Color result by Cait Bongiorno: warm copper waves with bright dimension

Color correction is what you book after something went wrong. The box dye that turned black. The highlights that went orange. The DIY bleach that left stripes. The “ash blonde” that came out green. It’s the most technical work in hair color, and it’s very fixable.

You’ll get a straight answer

A real correction starts with a real assessment. Some fixes happen in one afternoon. Some take a couple of planned visits to keep your hair healthy. You’ll know which one you’re signing up for, and what it costs, before anything is applied.

How corrections work

Depending on what your hair needs, a correction can involve gentle color removal, controlled lightening, filling in missing pigment before going darker, treatments that protect your hair from breaking, and a final tone. Every step gets tested on a few hidden strands first. Nothing is guessed.

Good questions

Can my color be fixed in one appointment?

Sometimes yes, sometimes no, and you deserve a straight answer before we start. Dark box dye over lightened hair or years of layered color can take more than one visit to fix safely. At your free consultation you'll get an honest plan: what we can do today, what needs a second visit, and what it costs.

Why does color correction cost more than regular color?

Because it's really several services in one appointment. A correction can involve color removal, lightening or filling, treatments that protect your hair, and a final color or gloss. Corrections start at $200 and run about four hours. Your exact quote comes at the free consultation, because every correction is different.

Will color correction damage my hair?

The whole point of doing it professionally is fixing the color without wrecking your hair. That means testing on a few hidden strands first, protecting your hair with treatments while we work, and knowing when to stop. If your hair can't safely get to the goal in one day, you'll hear that up front.

What should I bring to a color correction consultation?

Your honest hair history. Everything that's touched your hair in the last two years, including box dye, henna, and keratin treatments, plus photos of your goal. The more honest the history, the better the plan.
